Your Area of Work


The Compliance function works closely with the individual business areas and control functions to work towards compliance with national and international laws and regulations applicable to Clearstream Banking AG and its business activities. The Compliance function takes a proactive role in identifying potential compliance or reputational risks, including those related to new business activities and products. 


 


Your responsibilities


As an IT-Compliance Officer you advise the IT-organisation on compliance requirements and check respective controls have been adequately designed and implemented. Using advisory and control mechanisms on an ongoing basis, the IT-Compliance function helps to ensure that the organisation achieves its compliance goals, thus reduces compliance risk, and avoids findings. 


 



  • You support development of a risk-based IT-Compliance control plan and execute compliance controls

  • You create control reports and track findings remediation actions

  • You assess the impact of regulatory requirements on banking IT

  • You monitor regulatory developments at national and EU-level

  • You prepare internal reports and presentations as well as reports to internal and external bodies

  • Furthermore, you assist the IT organisation to fulfil compliance obligations

     


Your profile



  • University degree in business informatics or comparable qualification with a high affinity for IT

  • Experience in the implementation of controls

  • Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory compliance requirements and associated risks

  • Experience in the financial industry, e.g. in the compliance department or information security

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and organizational skills

  • High level of initiative, commitment and motivation

  • Very good written and spoken German and English, knowledge of another language an advantage
