Back-End Developer

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our data is effectively connected to frontend applications and processed efficiently. You will utilize best practices to build well-structured applications that enhance our ability to resolve issues quickly and maintain robust system performance.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between the backend and frontend applications
• Manage and optimize databases to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement scalable system architectures that support current and future needs
• Follow established coding standards and best practices to ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring fast response times and minimal downtime
• Quickly identify and resolve backend issues, working to improve system reliability and performance
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of backend processes, APIs, and system architecture
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of applications and data flow

Qualifications of the Position 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Back-End Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java)
• Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and deployment practices.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
