Ferrellgas is currently searching for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team! As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming data into insight that can help improve the value of the company.

Responsibilities






  • Delivers analytic insights in several business domains including Operations, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Sales.
  • Combines analytical expertise, data, and business insight to answer and anticipate critical business questions.
  • Identifies opportunities and delivers critical insights to the business in ways that make significant impacts.
  • Partners with end-users to understand their needs and identifies appropriate BI solutions.
  • Uses SQL and other query tools to identify relevant data sources and prepare them for Power BI data models and reporting.
  • Develops efficient Power BI data models that simplify reporting and preserve fast performance.
  • Creates visuals, reports, and dashboards that make it easy for users to see key insights within the data.








Qualifications






  • A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Operation Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, or related field).
  • 1+ years overall experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis with analytics techniques to solve defined business problems.
  • 1+ years of experience writing SQL queries.
  • 1+ years of experience building Power BI data models and reports.
  • Understanding of database principals and star schema.
  • Ability to solve complex problems with little or ambiguous direction.
  • Great communicator & effective storyteller.
  • Passionate about discovering new things.
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments and diverse business scenarios.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
