The Developer II, DevOps & Platforms, create solutions for our customer's problems and take a sense of ownership in working towards the envisioned solution on time and under budget.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads detailed design, development/unit testing, and integration of applications.
  • Designs, develops, deploys, tests, and maintains technical assets in a highly secure and coordinated enterprise computing environment.
  • Produces scalable and flexible, high-quality code that satisfies both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Uses secure development standard methodologies and design patterns.
  • Analyzes and translates business requirements to technical design.
  • Collaborates/communicates with the project team and business users as required.
  • Produces fully functional mobile applications writing clean code.

Key Skills

  • Validated understanding of algorithms, design patterns, and fundamental computer science concepts
  • Strong analytical skills, investigative analysis, and capability to communicate outcomes
  • Problem-solving demeanor
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to converse and collaborate with the team
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes a plus.

Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience

Additional Experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a DevOps engineer, CloudOps engineer, and/or Site Reliability Engineer.
  • 2+ years of experience setting up automated build and delivery pipelines leveraging the tools available (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps YAML Pipelines).
  • Experience automating processes using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • 1+ years of experience automating setup of environments using Terraform.


 

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
  • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate

$82,000 - $97,500 Salary

Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
